These doors are off a deep metallic blue TDI and have been cut back and primed then applied with a mottled silver effect.
All rivets are individually shaded which was a very lengthy process but worth it for the perfect 3D effect.
I also created a rust effect to give it a more authentic feel and to provide the right look.

Here an airbrushed flag design panel to show the effect a client wanted me to create on his vehicle.
I used simple shading but quite tricky masking of the squares to create that pleated material effect.
I always try to produce test panel for clients to view before proceeding with the full design.
This is with a top coat but not yet polished.

For this ragged airbrushed flag design I deliberately didn't over detail the Stars as I wanted the movement and depth in the flag to be the focal point, sometimes less is more!
This T4 fuel cover, done for a Tornado red high top camper, travelled to the Brighton breeze from sunny Bristol.
The rivet over the silver (patina) I think will be the theme in a new bonnet design.
The pinstriping here was all done by hand to join up the vinyl flowers. This way you can buy "off the peg decals" but personalise you overall design.
Note the small flowers in red are airbrushed (it is possible to also have the large white flowers airbrushed too if you don't want transfers)

This is one of my early airbrush projects, getting the perspective just right was tricky, particularly making it in a way that the gun looks like it is popping out of the picture.
This is pre top coat.

Just quick VW practice to test a background colour, The shine of the edges is airbrushed to give a shiny 'bling' look.
Bike helmet, all hand airbrushed.
The final top coat will be polished.
Final art will now be top coated and polished, Front has a repeat of flames in a V.
This is a bold flame design but the silver blue top coat is made to look like
water droplets are on the surface. Just one to show not all flames have to be hot and red.
